Universal (All Equipment)

Run these checks on every piece of industrial equipment regardless of type. These are the baseline items that apply whether you are buying a tractor, a lathe, or a forklift.

Walk-away red flags

• Seller refuses video call or in-person inspection — almost always conceals a serious defect.
• No service or maintenance records on machines over 3 years old.
• Evidence of welded repairs on structural or load-bearing components.
• Active fluid leaks (oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant) that seller dismisses as "normal".
• Serial number plate missing, defaced, or inconsistent with documentation.
• Listing photos show crash, impact, or collision damage.

Visual & Structural

No cracks, fractures, or deformation in frame, base, or main structure
